A Registered Agent is essential for a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and a Corporation. In the U.S., they are the company's official contact for the U.S. authorities. This may, of course, be a problem for U.S. companies who are actually doing business outside the U.S. For this reason, for some period of time a Registered Agent service is included in each of the Founder Packages of ALTON, and we are happy to continue to be our clients Registered Agent.
Including for those U.S. companies which ALTON did not assist in their founding, we offer a stand alone Registered Agent service.
Required by governmental agencies in the U.S., your Registered Agent is the person there you designate to officially receive and send legal papers on behalf of your company.
