E-1 and E-2 Visa are two visas for the United States that are specifically designed for entrepreneurs or investors. Anyone who meets the conditions can live and work in the United States for five years. Both visas can be renewed several times, so they provide the basis for long-term stays in the U.S. Therefore, they are also suitable as an alternative to the Green Card to enter the U.S. to become an entrepreneur. To request a decision, one of the two E-1 or E-2 Visas needs to be applied for. It does not exclude someone continuing to pursue the Green Card which allows unlimited living and working in the United States without further formalities.
